This recipe has a lot of stories imbued in it. The baked meal got its name from Monastery, one of Bulgaria’s most popular tourist’s spot, and an important part of the Bulgarian culture. It features the perfect blend of beef, rice, vegetables, and spices. You can use your discretion to add or reduce the quantity of the ingredients the most important thing is getting the best from it.

Cut the beef into pieces. Put in a pan and fry, using little oil for 5 minutes.

Put beef stock, chopped onions, and paprika into the content. Wait for 5 minutes, and then add rice and mushroom. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Include the tomatoes and season with salt to your taste. Also add sugar, butter, and olives. Cook for 5 more minutes.

Preheat your oven to about 400 F.
