Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
12 oz ground Beef
1 cup refried Beans
½ cup Cilantro (freshly chopped)
1 tbsp sliced Jalapeno Pepper (pickled)
½ cup pepper Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
Romaine Lettuce (2 cups, leaf bits)
1 Lime (cut in 4 pieces)
4 whole-wheat Tortillas (Warmed, (wrapped in lightly dampened paper towels and microwave on high speed for 30 seconds)
Guacamole
1 Avocado
½ cup Gluten-Free Salsa
Garlic Powder (dash)

Delicious oblong patties in a wrap with meat, cheese and vegetables.

Steps

In the top third of your oven, position an oven rack and preheat. Grease and prepare the broiler pan.

Gently mix the burger ingredients (ground beef, cilantro, beans and pickled jalapenos). Shape them into four oblong patties (roughly 5x2”).

Broil for roughly 14 minutes or until golden brown. Your meat thermometer should read 165°F.

Now prepare Guacamole

In a bowl, crush the avocado, garlic powder and salsa together. If preferred, this can be served with the meal and everyone get creative with assembling their own burger/tortilla.

To serve, spread the guacamole on each tortilla and sprinkle with cheese and lettuce. Place the burger on top and there goes your wrap. Serve with a lime wedge.
