Sweet and salty just go together. And this Chocolate-Covered Maple Bacon is an easy way to get in protein and fat while satisfying your sweet tooth! For added crunch, try sprinkling on some crushed almonds after you dip the bacon in chocolate!

Steps

1
Done

Place bacon into the air fryer basket and sprinkle with erythritol.

2
Done

Adjust the temperature to 350°F and set the timer for 12 minutes.

3
Done

Turn bacon halfway through the cooking time. Cook to desired doneness, checking at 9 minutes. (Smaller air fryers will cook much faster.)

4
Done

When bacon is done, set aside to cool.

5
Done

In a small microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir. Add in maple extract.

6
Done

Place bacon onto a sheet of parchment. Drizzle chocolate over bacon and place in refrigerator to cool and harden, about 5 minutes.
