Big bacon and egg pie recipe

Ingredients

2 large Onion chopped
2 cups of Bacon chopped
½ cup of mixed frozen Vegetables optional
6 Egg
2 tablespoons of Milk
2 tablespoons spicy Chutney or relish
Sheets of flaky Flaky Pastry (buy frozen and keep in the freezer)

In a large pie tin put enough flaky pastry to cover the bottom. Add onion and bacon and vegetables evenly over pastry.

Spoon the chutney anywhere over top. Break the eggs evenly over this and prick the yolks so they run a little.

Get another sheet of pastry and lay over filling or if you don’t have enough just cut into strips.

Brush the pastry with the milk. Bake at 200C for 40 minutes until it is golden and has risen. Wait until it cools a bit and cut into big squares – eat hot or cold.
