Preheat oven to 375°. |

Place the carob chips, walnut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond extract in the top of a double boiler and heat until the carob chips are melted, stirring frequently. |

Combine flour, flaxseed meal, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl and make a well in the center. |

Pour the almond milk in the center of the well and mix until coarsely blended. Add melted carob mixture and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. |

Pour batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick placed into the center comes out clean. |
