1¼ cups raw Sunflower Seeds , divided
3 cups filtered Water , for soaking the sunflower seeds
1 cup Hemp Hearts
⅓ cup organic Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp extra virgin Olive Oil
2 Tbsp dried Basil , more for garnish
2 Tbsp filtered Water
2 cloves Garlic , chopped
½ tsp Pink Rock or gray sea salt
½ tsp ground Turmeric
½ tsp ground Cumin

Soak 1 cup of the sunflower seeds in 3 cups of water for 1 hour. Drain.

Place all the ingredients except the remaining ¼ cup of unsoaked sunflower seeds in a food processor, and process until pastelike, stopping occasionally to scrape the sides of the bowl, about 1 minute.

Line a small glass container with parchment paper. Spread the ¼ cup of unsoaked sunflower seeds in an even layer on the bottom.

Transfer the pâté to the container, pressing it down and smoothing it out with a spatula. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.

Invert onto a serving plate, and sprinkle extra dried basil on the sides if desired.
